G.E.M came out with her new MV for Unreachable 多美麗. It’s an easy song to listen to with EDM elements and a nice drop. She takes you on a trip through parts of Monaco with beautiful architecture and scenery. It makes me wish this pandemic was over even more so we can resume travels.
Like the title, Unreachable, G.E.M alludes to the idea that we find the things we cannot acquire to be the most desirable and keeps us on the move.
Monaco (Principality of Monaco) is a sovereign city-state, country, and microstate on the French Riviera in Western Europe that still holds its monarchy. Although the 2nd smallest country in the world, Monaco’s seaside and mountain scenery and good climate has made it a hot spot for tourists and recreation centre for the rich.
Monaco is also known for it’s gorgeous architecture as seen in G.E.M’s MV. The most prominent and trademark style is the Belle Epoque which is widely preserved in Monte Carlo. The language most used is French and some Italian. English is also common.
One of the most popular events is the annual Formula 1 grand prix held on the streets. People take boats onto the bay to watch the race. The country is also a tax haven which has attracted many businesses.
