This is ‘冬眠 If Winter Comes, Can Spring be Far Behind?’ by 鄭宜農 Enno Cheng. I love the candidness of the raw vocals in the beginning, there’s an honesty to it that perfectly edited pitches just don’t contain. The song and video are both hauntingly beautiful as the music melancholically builds up. It was nice to see many familiar actors and actresses in the music video. I also applaud Enno for subtly having some diversity in sexual orientation in the MV. While Taiwan is probably the most progressive in the continent when it comes to LGBT rights, they still like to play safe and there’s actually very little obvious exposure of it in the music industry.
